About Us
Amarone GOLF Connections (AGC) is a www. marriage of Wine and Golf. We are passionate about both and we want to share that passion with our Members. Our Mission is to be your "Go to Resource" for those of us who are intoxicated with excitement at the popping of a cork of an 05 Quintarelli or Chateau Neuf de Pape or positively ecstatic at the sound of a brand new Pro-V exploding from your new Taylor Driver. These are the sounds and smells that delight us after our days work is done. We plan to enhance your pleasure by helping you feed these pleasures. Wine is a never ending journey of knowledge and experience and we all need a little guidance along the way. AGC will deliver! Golf is a never ending challenge that tests our character daily. The web is full of vendors and bloggers, but there are precious few who promise to provide you with great independent information in a timely way about these pursuits. Our mission is to provide incisive "tasting" notes that are not full of fluffy Winese, and to point you to the good stuff that you can get here in Canada. A quick honest read is our motto.
We will also encourage your active participation with good wine writing on any wine related topic that is readable and useful. We also plan to provide great Golf information so that you can find courses and resorts that others have reviewed honestly and to the point - from the great courses at Mont Tremblant and in the Okanagan and in PEI , to the Trails in Mississippi, Alabama and Spain and Portugal. We aim to tell you about Wine Golf Tours ---however the core will be our Wine Tasting Notes. We will also show you how to get these great wines ---many not available in the local liquor stores.
We will help you get to know the Niagara Wineries and other Canadian Wineries, while also highlighting the great International gems of Italy, France and the World.
Come on and join us in creating the best Wine Golf site on the Web....together we will all enjoy our wine and golf a whole lot more. This cork is popped!
