A Spectacular Evening

Members of The Hamilton Club were treated to another spectacular wine tasting and gourmet dinner on Friday September 17th, 2010.  Isole E Olena.  Paolo De Marchi, famed Tuscan and Piedmont Wine Maker discussed the vineyard history and details of all the wines tasted.  The Club’s new Executive Chef, Michael Vogt, made an auspicious debut, with a perfectly paired dinner, including Truffle Risotto, Lamb, Bison, and pasta to match the De Marchi Chardonnay, Cabernet and Cepparello selections.  With the assistance of Amarone Golf Connections and Phil Kaegi of Halpern’s, this was truly a memorable event.  - Jim Scarfone
